The OvationONS II sensor will be used in the optical track pad modules inside the Intercept for easy and intuitive single-handed screen and menu navigation.

Cypresss PSoC(R)-based OvationONS II enables a fully-contained optical finger navigation module system that includes a laser, sensor and processor. It employs Cypresss patented OptiCheck technology -- a proprietary, speckle-based two-dimensional comb array technology -- to determine finger motion and provide highly accurate and reliable user navigation interfaces for mobile devices.

Samsung-Intercept-QWERTY

The Intercept also offers users both a touchscreen and a full slider QWERTY keyboard, offering a convenient and functional way to enjoy faster web surfing, downloads, messaging, and more. Based on the Android operating system, it delivers features such as Google Maps, expandable Memory (up to 32 GB), picture messaging, and Bluetooth. The phone is available from Sprint in the U.S.
